Fernhill is a quirky, small family run hotel nestled amongst some of the most tranquil surroundings in the North West. It is situated on a small 16th Century farm and surrounded on all sides by breath-taking rural views over three counties.

Location: Fernhill is close to sprawling moors yet we are only 3 miles from Rochdale Town Centre; 10 minutes off the M62 at Junction 20 and a 30-minute drive from Manchester City Centre. Whilst we are located in the countryside we are only a few minutes drive from local shops, cafes and takeaways.
Self Check in: We also provide guests with a private, self check in so they can come and go as they please. Upon arrival at Fernhill guests will find their keys in the small wooden box next to the main front door. Thanks to the key system, guests can check in as late as they would like. However we are only a short phone call away if you require anything!
Our Rooms: Our beautifully converted stone farm buildings offer excellent facilities for all guests; there is ample free, private parking. Fernhill has tastefully decorated en-suite rooms with smart tv's, free wifi, iron and board, hairdryer, tea and coffee, power showers and each room has its own thermostat so you can be as cosy as you want.
Kitchenette: All our guests have free use of the small kitchenette located in the main building containing a fridge, microwave, plates and crockery for if you want to prepare your own food during your stay.
The local area: There are many footpaths on the doorstep, which makes Fernhill an ideal base for walkers. You can choose from our green fields with undulating scenery, or rugged moorland at the foot of the Pennines, Fernhill is just a few minutes walk from the Pennine bridle way at Rooley Moor.
Breakfast: Breakfast is help yourself, continental style and is an extra £7 per person, per night. Breakfast consist of a selection of cereals, pastries, yoghurts, breads, croissants, muffins, ham, cheeses, fruits, beans, juices and more.
